Responsibilities
- Configure various modules of Odoo based on business process flows and management directions
- Receive and understand Functional Specifications from the client's business team
- Implement a solution using, when possible, Odoo toolsets of Odoo Studio, Website Builder, Server Actions and the like. If not possible with those tools, then a python / html customization will be written to meet the requirements as documented in the Functional Specification
- Perform unit testing
- After Business teams do User Acceptance Testing, move the changes to Production
- Support and maintain any Odoo 3rd party apps that have been installed or to install as needed
- Lead the effort to upgrade Odoo annually to the latest released version
- Maintain a clear Configuration Log on every custom development; document every branch
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application to the client's business
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher in Computer Related Courses
- Proficient with python
- Passion for software products
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Kenya (if not a Kenyan citizen)
Nice to have
- Experience in Odoo development
- Proper knowledge in Odoo Development
- Additional languages
- Proficient in API Development
